Charlie’s Produce Sandwich Packaging

I redesigned the packaging for sandwiches sold in the markets on campus, specifically Charlie’s Produce sandwiches. My design goals were to accommodate resealing and sharing by creating packaging for half-sandwiches that could be sold together, but contained separately.

Resealable, portable, shareable.

Aside from advertising the product attractively, my goal was to meet three requirements: that the sandwich packaging is resealable (can be closed after initial opening), portable (can be stored in a bag or backpack), and shareable (containing two separate portions).

Designing the sandwich containers required not only research on developing package form, but also the creation of the design elements that would be applied to each side.

The packaging is printed double-sided, so that the illustrations can be viewed after opening.

Having food packaging that can be resealed means easy travel and sharing. This packaging is perfect for those on the go.
